In the latest violation by Hamas of the US-brokered ceasefire deal, the terror group on Monday night handed over to Israel the casket of partial remains of Ofir Tzarfati, a hostage whose body the Israel Defense Forces recovered in early December 2023.

Hamas staged a fake unearthing of the remains and called the Red Cross. Footage filmed by a military drone has been released showing the terrorist staging the "discovery." Hamas operatives dug a hole and placed a body inside the ditch.

Israel awaits the return of 13 deceased hostages still held by terror groups in Gaza, as part of the deal. Hamas was required to return all living and deceased hostages to Israel within 72 hours of the IDF withdrawal to an agreed line in the Strip, known as the Yellow Line.

In light of Hamas’s latest ceasefire violation and in response to IDF troops under fire earlier Tuesday in Rafah, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered “immediate and powerful strikes” on Gaza.

Meanwhile, Ofir’s family had to open his grave for the third time and rebury him. His mother, Rachel Tzarfati, said in a press conference on Tuesday: “We thought we had come full circle, that we were able to lay Ofir to rest. But today we discovered that we never received all of him."

“It’s incomprehensible to me: How can you bury your child in installments?” she added.

The 13 remaining deceased hostages are:

  1. Sahar Baruch, 24

  2. Itay Chen, 19

  3. Amiram Cooper, 85

  4. Oz Daniel, 19

  5. Meny Godard, 73

  6. Hadar Goldin, 23

  7. Ran Gvili, 24

  8. Asaf Hamami, 40

  9. Joshua Loitu Mollel, 21

  10. Omer Neutra, 21

  11. Dror Or, 48

  12. Sudthisak Rinthalak, 43

  13. Lior Rudaeff, 61

This is a developing story.
